An exemplar unit plan provides guidance on the structure, sequence and decision-making made during the planning process.
This sequence of 10 lessons teaches students about fractions, and their relationship with whole numbers and decimals.
Lesson 1 Identify, describe and represent fractions

Lesson 2 Understanding equivalence

Lesson 3 Finding equivalent fractions

Lesson 4 Compare fractions less than one

Lesson 5 Working with fractions greater than one
