Hi! Welcome to Kakadu National Park.
I'm Jim, and I'm working on a display for our information centre. It would be great if you could help out.

First, select Continue to find out more about the park.

Kakadu National Park is in Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is a World Heritage site, which means it is protected as one of the most important places in the world.

Kakadu is very important to the Aboriginal people who have cared for this land for thousands of years.

Now that you have some background information, we can get to work. The display I need your help with should give an overview of the park.

We want to present Kakadu in a positive way, so people will understand why it’s so important.

As you can see, we’ve already started. We’ve collected a lot of information about the park and written it up on this whiteboard.

However, it’s not organised in any way. We need you to group the information that belongs together.

The cards on the right show ways of grouping the information.

Move each sentence from the whiteboard to the card where it belongs.

Good work. Each card works like a paragraph in a text.

Now it’s time to choose a heading for each card. Select a card and then move the heading that matches the information to the card.

You’ve done a fantastic job! In fact, it’s so good that we’re going to produce a handout with your information report on it.

We’ll turn each card into a paragraph of the text. Every visitor will get one as they come into the centre. You can print one off for yourself, too. Thanks for your help!
