After school I was riding calmly home along the path.
As I came around the bend, an old woman and her dog stopped suddenly in
front of me. The dog was off its lead.
As I swerved desperately to avoid the dog, I accidentally bumped into the old woman.
Unfortunately, I knocked her over and fell of my bike. I was very annoyed with her, as the sign said that dogs must be kept on a lead.
Fortunately my bike was not seriously damaged. Naturally, the woman apologised.
