Magic lantern Kromogram colour glass slides, c1895

This set of six colour glass slides (two red, two blue and two green) is an early example of colour photography. Together, the set is called a Kromogram. When looked at through a special viewer, a Kromskop, the image appears to be in natural colour. The slides date to about 1895.
