Work sample Years 3 and 4 Digital Technologies: Digital project: Rescuing Rapunzel

This work sample demonstrates evidence of student learning in relation to aspects of the achievement standards for Years 3 and 4 Digital Technologies. The primary purpose for the work sample is to demonstrate the standard, so the focus is on what is evident in the sample not how it was created. The sample is an authentic representation of student work and may contain errors such as spelling mistakes and other inaccuracies. In this work sample students: • create simple digital solutions and use provided design criteria to check if solutions meet user needs • follow and describe simple algorithms involving branching and iteration and implement them as visual programs • access and use digital systems and their peripherals for a range of purposes, including transmitting data • use the core features of common digital tools to plan, create, locate and share content.
