Rebuild a community - teacher resource kit

TLF ID A004945

This activity kit encourages students to think about what makes a community, identify the people in our community who help us, and how to rebuild after a disaster. Activities are guided by the design thinking process, and scaffold students to brainstorm what makes a community and consider how a disaster might affect their community. They then prioritise rebuilding activities after a natural disaster, taking into account disaster risk, structural properties and community needs. The guide includes lesson ideas, project instructions and activity sheets.
