This two-week unit develops student knowledge and skills in understanding different situations where addition, subtraction, multiplication and division can be used. Students are provided opportunities to investigate the four operations through problem solving; explore the relationship between different operations and inverse operations and engage in meaningful activities using repeated halving and doubling.
