In this set of learning activities, students explore how the environmental impact of human development can be reduced in the context of their school’s use of energy and material resources. Students have the opportunity to make positive, practical and actionable changes at a school level. They engage in planning for greater sustainability in classrooms of the future using real and anticipated technological advances. The module includes a comprehensive teacher guide, curriculum links, materials lists, design process guides and printable student resource sheets. The resource also provides an editable module template, is supported by online professional learning modules and is part of the STEM Learning Project.
