  • Students learn language about places, including cultural features in Indonesia.
  • Students recognise and apply Indonesian words and phrases associated with compass directions, wind speed and height.
Educational value
  • Provides opportunities to identify the language related to a range of locations in Indonesia: a beach, a rice field and a sportsground.
  • Exposes students to words and phrases associated with compass directions, wind speed and height.
  • Features a kite-flying display mode allowing students to fly their kite in the three different locations, and apply different compass directions, wind speeds and altitudes.
  • Gives all instructions and feedback in the target language.
  • Includes authentic photographic images of a beach, a rice field and a sportsground.
  • Provides an option to print a kite-flying scene in Indonesia, including a kite built and positioned by the student.
