Educational value
  • This is a valuable resource for the Understanding strand of the Italian language curriculum for Foundation to year 8, especially the years 7 and 8 beginner pathway. It introduces and assists revision of the recognition and correct pronunciation of numbers one to ten.
  • This resource also has value in introducing and building upon the basics of Italian phonology by drilling the pronunciation of numbers one to ten in isolation, and in small sentences, as well as in a song with rhymes, which is particularly important for primary years learners and beginner pathways.
