Educational value
  • This is a valuable resource for the Understanding strand of the Italian language curriculum for Foundation to year 8, especially the years 7 and 8 beginner pathway. It introduces and assists revision of the recognition, use and correct pronunciation of numbers 11 to 20.
  • This resource has value in building upon the basics of Italian phonology by drilling the pronunciation of numbers in isolation and in small sentences, as well as in a song with rhymes, which is particularly important for primary years' learners and beginner pathways. It also builds on students' numeracy skills in predictable contexts.
