Activities include investigating changes in country of birth by collecting and displaying data from students, their parents and grandparents and comparing the 1901 and 2006 Australian census data for top 10 countries of birth; graphing and comparing primary data with secondary data from a country in the Asia region; and using Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) census data to investigate which state or territory has the greatest percentage of students born overseas. The resource includes datasets for two of the activities.
