Educational value

• This resource provides a selection of quality teaching and learning about visual literacy in years 2- 10. It presents activities and guidelines on explicit responding and composing tasks. Provides a pedagogical framework for teaching a series of lessons about visual literacy. It will develop an understanding of how visual texts are an integral part of the study of key English concepts and texts within new and changed content of the BOS NSW syllabus for the Australian curriculum in English K–10.
