An interview with Dr Jack Bacon, NASA engineer and futurist. Jack talks to a teacher from Sydney Girls High School about his experiences on the Vomit comet and his research into alternative energy sources. Jack also shares with us his predictions for the future of science, space travel and energy sources.

  • This is an excellent resource for year 9 and 10 science students as it deals with their physical science understandings from the Australian Curriculum as well as Science as a Human Endeavour. This resource addresses Sustainability, the cross curriculum priority of the Australian Curriculum. It particular it discusses the important of understanding the finite nature of fossil fuels and developing viable alternatives such as fusion reactors.
