  • This resource is a useful resource about the stories of migrants relevant to Year 5 The Australian Colonies - the reasons people migrated, Year 6 Australia as a nation - status and rights of migrants/stories of migrants, Year 9 The making of the modern world - movements of people. The stories are based on artefacts that are held at the National Museum of Australia. Students research an object of significance to migration in their own community or family.
