Teacher guide Your place in the world: what do they eat?

TLF ID M016795

This is a web page for teachers about estimating percentages and displaying data in various formats. It presents a teaching sequence based on analysing the food purchased and consumed by three families in three different countries. The resource is linked to a student worksheet that requires an estimation of how much of each food type each family eats as a percentage of the whole, and a food spreadsheet that represents graphically the amount spent on each food type in the three countries and in Australia. There is a link to teacher notes that contain additional information and options for further exploration.
