Video Tassie be dammed: opening the Meander Dam

In response to prolonged periods of drought, the Tasmanian Government embarked on a plan to 'drought-proof' Tasmania. Listen to the reasons that politicians and some public officials give for building more dams. This clip features the opening of the Meander Dam in 2008 in the state's north. Hear also from farmers who have been affected by the drought.
