Year 3 resources: Community and remembrance

This collection of resources support students to explore the concepts of rules and laws in the community and provides a basic introduction to the legal system. The resources are designed to provide pre- and post-visit activities following an excursion to the West Australian Court but would also be of value as part of classroom units of work in civics and citizenship. Activities include research, creative writing, vocabulary building and literacy-based activities and include assessment tasks. Teacher resources are accessible using the password FrancisBurt2015.
