This sequence of six lessons introduces students to the concept of photosynthesis and the role it plays in food production. Based on real photosynthesis and sustainability research, the unit uses the 5E inquiry-based approach and includes easy to set and see science displays, word games, practical activities and maths learning activities. The unit also includes a worksheet to assist in implementing a modified version of the scientific method.
