Living things have structural features and adaptations to help them survive in the environment, but how does it work in real life? This inquiry-based sequence of eight lessons (two of which are optional) is based on current food security, sustainability and photosynthesis research. The experiments and activities include easy to set and see science displays, word games, practical activities and maths learning activities. The unit includes a worksheet to assist in implementing a modified version of the scientific method and researcher profiles to directly link to the research.
