In this activity students learn about economic indicators of wellbeing and write a report that demonstrates their understanding of how these apply to one country.

  2. Students explore the sections that explain economic indicators of wellbeing. They should work through each of the indicators and complete the website exercises attached. This will assist students to develop a clear understanding of the nature and effect of each economic indicator.
  3. Referring to specific examples and to a nominated focus country, they should write a brief report responding to these questions.
     • How do the examples chosen reveal the evidence of an economic situation that affects wellbeing?
     • In what way do these various examples of economic indicators affect wellbeing?
