- Ask students to visit the BBC's Development and health website.
From the home screen select the tab for 'Social indicators'.
- Students explore the sections that explain social indicators of wellbeing. They should work through each of indicators and complete the website exercises attached. This will assist students to develop a clear understanding of the nature and effect of each of the many listed social indicators.
- Referring to specific examples and to a nominated focus country, they should write a brief report responding to these questions.
- How do the examples chosen reveal the evidence of a social situation that affects wellbeing?
- In what way do these various examples of social indicators affect wellbeing?
