- Ask students to visit the CIA's The world factbook website to identify the wellbeing issues that affect Australians. They should then assess where our country ranks in terms of lifestyle wellbeing issues discussed in the previous activity.
- Students choose one of the wellbeing issues that affect a developed society. Some examples are: obesity, ageing population, smoking, stress and pollution.
- They conduct an in-depth analysis of the issue. They should examine:
- its causes
- its likely effects
- the measures required to address it.
