- Ask students to consider the negative wellbeing issues that arise in developed countries. How do countries reconcile the goals of capitalist, profit-driven economies with the messages of restraint? How do they implement the education necessary to curb wellbeing issues arising out of obesity, alcohol abuse, pollution and smoking?
- Students write a comparative case study, or create an information poster, illustrating the ways developed economies might deal with their wellbeing issues. Make use of geographical conventions to develop this material.
