- Ask students to use the geographical knowledge and vocabulary, and the research and organisational skills developed in previous activities to research a place in the Asia–Pacific region. They then compare this to a place in Australia they have already researched, noting both similarities and differences.
- Before beginning the investigation allow students time to list the types of resources they think they will need for this activity. This will assist in evaluating student ability to identify appropriate sources of information.
- Tell students that they can choose the form of presentation for this comparative study. Remind them about the need for clarity and accuracy of information in their presentation.
- Have a class expo where each group can present their findings to the class. Facilitate a question time and discussion around each presentation.
