- creating short texts, developing ideas coherently andusing basic cohesive devices such as:
- consistent use of the informal polite sentence ender –어/아요 throughout textconsisting of multiple sentences
- agreement of honorific elements such as honorific particles, words and suffixesin a sentence and throughout the text
- basic conjunctive adverbs (for example, 그리고, 그러나, 그런데, 그렇지만, 그러면) andsuffixes (clausal connectives) (for example, –고, –어/아서, –지만, –(으)면)
