This is a video about biodynamic grape growing and wine production at Cape Jaffa Winery in South Australia. It is narrated by co-owner and winemaker Anna Hooper, who describes the wine regions in which the vineyard is located, its soil types, and the main wines grown. She goes on to illustrate the winery's commitment to the biodynamic philosophy of the farm as a closed system and its production techniques that include using ducks, geese and chickens instead of harmful pesticides and making and mixing 500, a cow manure based compost. The video lasts for 4:12 min and in the latter part Hooper describes the timing of the harvest and her personal satisfaction that some of the wine is available overseas. She shows the different fermentation and wine-making techniques for red and white wines and how much of the wine is marketed through cellar door sales.
