Activity stepsShow details
- Start the activity by asking students to respond to the question: What's it like to live where you do?
- Students then create a series of still images and/or short videos to document important features of 'where they live'.
- They then use the online tool Open Explorer Builder to create a multimedia presentation based around these images and video footage.
- In order to build a thorough description of where they live, students should annotate their images and recordings by using written words, spoken narration, related images, maps and numerical data.
- Focusing questions could include:
- How do different people use this place?
- Who manages your particular space?
- What happens at different times of the day?
