In Part 5, students research a place in Australia that is significantly different to where they live. They compare it with their own place, based on the categories used in the previous activity.

They present their findings to the key inquiry question: How are places where people live both similar and different?

An extension activity gives students the opportunity to further their learning by applying their geographical knowledge and skills in a new investigation.
